The necessity of viewing youth as
a major player in the social, involves understanding the new reality of the
century, very different from those of earlier times, which forces a more
accurate reflection of realism in terms that should govern the work of
propaganda and interaction with the younger generation, being important and
urgent to agenda "the drug problem in Peru and its influence on
youth" as a problem that is affecting the development projects and
truncating lives of thousands of young people today are held in various
prisons, rehabilitation centers and many not knowing what to do.
In this context took place forum
called "youth and healthy lifestyle: drugs in Peru and its impact on
youth" held-IV under the National Youth Congress on Friday-August 22 year
in the auditorium of the district Municipality of San Juan Bautista, with the participation
of young people from different regions of the country.
The activity in question aimed to
promote and strengthen the participation of youth as a strategy to combat
drugs; where panelists institutions as CEDAR, and aarle DEVIDA who described the
current situation by coming through the youth regarding drugs.
In this forum, the drug problem
was approached by three themes: "Current status of the problem of drugs in
our country and its influence on youth", "Actions that comes running
to combat this problem at the state level and local governments and private
institutions to cope with the drug problem "and" Importance of
participation and involvement of youth to counter the effects of the drug
problem.”
